Not as good as older models

I've owned a kitchenAid tilt-head stand mixer for years. I got the new one because I wanted a new color and gave my 6 year old one to my daughter. I wish I hadn't. The new one looks great but is much noisier and doesn't seem as sturdy. I also miss having the spring for putting on the blades. This one just doesn't have the same feel.

Love my KitchenAid Mixer!

I've had a KitchenAid mixer for 30 years. The first one I gave away because I wanted a 5qt, the second one I had for 26 years. I bought the third one because the the "off" part of the on/off switch stopped working. Love the red color, puts a pop into my kitchen. It is wonderful for kneading bread.
